Pokemon Legends: Arceus allows for exploration that fans of the franchise had not yet seen from a mainline entry. The calls for a more open-world Pokemon game had been gaining popularity over recent years after the success of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the showcasing of the Switch's higher power. However, now that Pokemon fans now have access to the game, there are a few things that they wish could be tweaked slightly including Pokemon Legends: Arceus' graphics, which still cause major debates among the fans.
Apart from graphical changes and other changes that could be made to Pokemon Legends: Arceus' gameplay, something that fans found annoying and surprising was that their protagonist couldn't swim in the new game. When entering any deep body of water, the player in Pokemon Legends: Arceus will start floundering, unable to swim or even find their way to shore. With the help of a merciful Pokemon, the player can be dragged from a watery grave, though in some cases the Pokemon would rather see the player drown instead.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus Player Has Adorable Interaction With Buizel
One Pokemon Legends: Arceus player found out the mercilessness of some of these creatures the hard way. As they happened to be drowning near a cliff, the player was attacked by a gang of three Buizels. Introduced in Gen 4, Buizel are a small, cute otter-like breed of Pokemon, that would rarely be thought of as the type that would drown a teenager. However, these Buizels proved to be unlike the rest, as they continued to attack the player while they were drowning.
In what is quite the strange, funny, and disturbing clip all in one, the Pokemon Legends: Arceus player is unable to escape from drowning due to the Buizels' attacks.
