Elden Ring is an incredibly challenging game. While early reports that certain gameplay changes, like the addition of stealth and more progression paths via the open world, would make Elden Ring easier, now that players have the game in their hands they might disagree. Yet in a game where most everything can (and will) kill players, sometimes embarrassing situations can happen. One Elden Ring player was willing to share what they claim is their most embarrassing death, and it certainly delivers.
The title of the post, shared in Reddit's Elden Ring community, is «My most embarrassing death in a FromSoft game to date.» That's an impressive claim on its own, because From Software has so many games, each with endless ways to have been embarrassed. At this point, everyone should know what's coming next. The player has just a fraction of health left and is distracted in a menu, completely unaware of their surroundings in the open world. Something is going to kill the player while they aren't paying attention. That's embarrassing on its own, but what gets the killshot makes it that much more embarrassing. As the player stands there, considering their rewards after a hard-fought battle, the rolling goat charges them and hits them in the back. Rolling goat charges don't typically do much damage, but in this case it was just enough to finish the player off. Elden Ring flashed
