Getting the Moonveil Katana can be pretty difficult for those that are unprepared. It lies in a zone that's notoriously difficult for some players, and it's safeguarded by a rather powerful boss. Here's a look at where players can find this illustrious blade and what they'll have to do to claim it as their own in Elden Ring.
To snag the Moonveil Katana, players first need to travel to the edge of Caelid, where the infested zone meets lush Limgrave. Navigating to the area on the map, players will encounter two Radahn's Guards. These foes carry large tower shields and players can either engage them or run past them and up the pathway into the nearby Gael Tunnel. It's important to note that the Site of Grace for this area is located at the bottom of the shaft that players enter from, and the fall damage can outright kill an adventurer if they're not careful.
The easiest way to get down to the Site of Grace is to eliminate the two guards that are found inside the entrance of Gael Tunnel and then use the small ledges along the walls to slowly drop to the bottom of the shaft. Players should be able to jump from ledge to ledge without much issue as they're quite large and easily visible, coiling downward in a circular pattern along the mineshaft.
