Maliketh's Black Blade is one of the many Colossal Swords that players can get their hands on in Elden Ring, but only after they've defeated Maliketh the Black Blade. Unlike most Colossal Swords, Maliketh's Black Blade primarily scales in damage with the Strength, Dexterity, and Faith stats, and it's also a great weapon for dealing holy damage. Its weapon skill, Destined Death, allows players to also players to summon multiple blades after plunging the sword into the ground to deal immediate damage, as well as damage over time.
Destined Death is a unique skill in the game, which makes Maliketh's Black Blade unable to be infused with Ashes of War in Elden Ring. However, the weapon can still be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones, and its unique skill costs 40 FP in order to use. Though who want to use Maliketh's Blade Blade with ease will need to make sure they've increased the Mind stat in addition to the stats that scale its physical damage.

Maliketh the Black Blade is a boss that players have to defeat in Elden Ring in order to beat the game, but the fight can prove to be particularly difficult to prepare for. Defeating this boss alone may prove to be too intense for players to complete on their own, so either Co-Op or summoning an ally in Elden Ring are the best options against Maliketh. Furthermore, this fight takes place in two stages with the first being against the Beast Clergyman and the second against Maliketh the Black Blade.
During the Beast Clergyman phase, be sure to watch out for the boss's ranged attacks where it swings its left hand back and proceeds to hurl debris. By dodging to the sides, players can almost always guarantee their safety
