Buzzwole recently arrived in Pokémon GO, and the insectoid Swollen Pokémon has been introduced in a terrifying teaser video. Since the mobile AR game's launch back in 2016 developer Niantic has continued expanding it by adding new pocket monsters, raids and in-game events. Back in March the Pokémon GO Lush Jungle event added several new Pokémon, like Tapu Lele and Fomantis, and now the AR experience has added Buzzwole to its ever-expanding roster.
Since its launch Pokémon GO has grown into a truly robust alternate reality experience where players can track, battle and capture Pokémon hiding in their real world surroundings. While it originally released with less than 200 different pocket monsters available to find, Niantic has slowly expanded the title's roster to over 700 different species. Alongside its standard gameplay, which lets players explore and catch 'em all by walking around their community, Pokémon GO also lets Trainers participate in online multiplayer raids and Pokémon Gym battles. Earlier this month Pokémon GO introduced Shadow Latios, with players freeing the Legendary Pokémon from Team Rocket's control in a Special Research mission.

A terrifying video posted to Twitter by Pokémon GO reveals that the buff bug Buzzwole has arrived in-game. The dual Bug and Fighting-type Pokémon was first introduced to the series in Pokémon Sun and Moon, and now players will be able to encounter it lurking in their actual cities and neighborhoods.
