's popular Adventure Week event has returned for its 2024 edition. There's a new set of Collection Challenges to complete, Field Research tasks to unlock, and a paid-for set of Timed Research tasks to work through. All of these lead to reward encounters with rare Pokémon like Anorith, Archen, Tirtouga, Tyrunt, and Amaura, so it's worth completing as many as you can.
Adventure Week is a fan-favorite celebration in, as it features a range of fossil Pokémon that typically can't be caught in the wild. This is a great opportunity not only to fill out your Pokédex, but also to earn enough Candy to evolve the likes of Kabuto and Omanyte. There are two Collection Challenges to work through in the Adventure Week event. Each one requires you to obtain five different Pokémon, some by catching them and others by evolving them. You can see details of both Collection Challenges, how to find each featured Pokémon, and the rewards you'll get for completing them in the table below:

When you complete this Collection Challenge, you'll be rewarded with 2500 Stardust, an Anorith encounter, and 25 Mega Aerodactyl Energy.
Aerodactyl is listed as a rare wild spawn for this event, but if you explore enough you should be able to find one. Incense can help here by increasing the amount of Pokémon that spawn in your location. On the other hand, Kabuto and Omanyte are fairly common spawns, so they shouldn't give you too much trouble.
