Medieval MMORPG Reign of Guilds has released answers to a list of questions submitted by their community and touched on numerous issues from skill bugs to upcoming content. The team at Atlant Games is still finding their footing when it comes to rewards and quality of life changes, but they are steadfast in their assertion that fixes are on the way.
In a Q&A that was published on Steam, Reign of Guilds has laid to rest several questions related to ongoing bugs that players have been hounding the team about since it launched into Early Access back in April of 2024. Examples given by the community include an anti-invisibility spell that actually works, skills disappearing from the hotbar entirely, and the presence of an infinite stamina bug that seems to have resurfaced. In each of these cases, they are on the team’s to-be-fixed list, but no ETA has been given.
Players were also wondering about balance. The team states that Vocations will be balanced instead of specific classes, where they achieve balance by testing, and looking over backend statistics. No specific balance changes were mentioned to be on the horizon, but the team intends to work on balance as they work through their current roadmap.
Some of the biggest answers came from the mention of merging the EU and NA servers, which the team originally stated that they floated this idea due to low server populations. But they have decided not to merge the servers due to the poor latency some players would encounter. They also addressed the team’s current third-person camera, stating that it will be refined in the future. For those unfamiliar with the title, Reign of Guilds was originally first-person only, but now allows players to play in third-person.
The team has also clarified its stance on leaving Steam. Reign of Guilds stated that they would be leaving Steam for VKPlay, but this is only in the Russian region, and it will not affect any of the other regions. Reign of Guilds has edged up a little recently
