The 'A Melemele Adventure' Special Research Tasks in Pokémon Go will provide trainers with extra items and rewards for clearing them. This is all part of the current Pokémon Go Alola event, where a handful of creatures from Pokémon Sun and Moon have finally joined the game. Special Research Tasks act somewhat as Pokémon Go's story mode, as it usually shows Professor Willow providing more lore and answers for the Pokémon universe. The 'A Melemele Adventure' is the first major research of this event.
