Thanks to a mod from Omega Fantasy, Fortnite's version of Kratos can now appear as a playable character in God of War (2018). Kratos joined the Fortnite roster in December 2020 as part of a Chapter 2 Season 5 update. Players could purchase the Spartan separately for 1,500 V-Bucks (or $16 USD) or spend a few extra dollars to grab the complete God of War item set, which came packed with the Kratos skin, Leviathan Axe pickaxe, Mimir back bling, and Guardian Shield glider.
For a while, Fortnite's God of War skin served as the only way players outside of PlayStation's ecosystem could assume the role of the iconic character. That changed earlier this year, however, when Sony Interactive Entertainment released God of War (2018) on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Notably, God of War's PC iteration boasts a few bells and whistles that PS4 and PS5 players can't access, including an ultrawide mode option akin to the one featured in Death Stranding's PC release. Of course, the modding community has enjoyed its fair share of fun with the critically acclaimed Kratos-starring adventure, as well.

Patreon user Omega Fantasy (via TheGamer) has released an early access version of a God of War (2018) mod that allows their subscribers to equip Kratos with his Fortnite skin. Omega Fantasy shared gameplay footage of the mod in action, showcasing a close look at Fortnite's low-resolution version of the Spartan duking it out with Baldur.
