A little over a year ago, Kratos made the long journey from Midgard all the way to the shores of Fortnite’s island. Along the way, he lost some color depth and maybe a few polygons here and there, but Kratos gained the ability to perform the Carlton dance, so there’s that.
Some of you might have even preferred the low-rez version of Kratos available in Fortnite. Maybe you even liked it so much you’d rather play the original God of War using that very same skin. Well, we’ve got some good news for you: Fortnite Kratos is now available in God of War courtesy of modder Omega Fantasy.

Currenty in early access, you can download the Fortnite Kratos skin mod over on Omega Fantasy’s Patreon (with thanks to GamesRadar). They might eventually release the skin for free on sites like Nexus Mods or ModDB, but there are no guarantees.
I'm not exactly sure why you'd want to replace God of War's Kratos with the Fortnite version of Kratos. The original version has far better textures, details, and facial expressions. Fortnite's Kratos just sort of looks oddly out of place, or like he's about to break into a meme-dance at any moment. It doesn't quite fit, especially during God of War's more cinematic moments.
Plus, it’s kinda hard to take Kratos seriously when he’s so low-rez compared to Baldur.
In other God of War news, Kratos might also be heading to television as a live-action TV show. Hopefully, Christopher Judge will reprise his role in the Amazon Prime series.
