Just when you thought Rockstar had finally run out of ideas to squeeze yet more cash out of GTA Online, enter GTA+. It's a new subscription service launching next week that will provide a "range of valuable benefits for both new and long-standing players on the latest generation consoles."
Those benefits include half a million GTA$ every month, alongside opportunities to purchase properties "that unlock gameplay updates you may have missed out on." You'll also get early access to new vehicles, upgrades, members-only discounts, and more GTA$ and RP bonuses.

Starting March 29 and running to April 27, GTA+ subscribers can enjoy the following benefits.
GTA+ members can also purchase GTA+ Shark Cards which provide bonus cash from both the PlayStation and Microsoft storefronts.
Curiously, Rockstar is limiting GTA+ to just the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S despite the fact the vast majority of players are still on previous-gen consoles. Rockstar made no mention of bringing this subscription service to the PS4 or Xbox One, so perhaps this is just its way of encouraging players to get the recently-released next-gen upgrade.
You can sign up for GTA+ at any of GTA Online's in-game stores on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. The price is $5.99 USD per month, with players able to cancel at any time.
