WhatsApp is rolling out major benefits for users. After having provided a major benefit to iPhone users, WhatsApp is all set to roll out the same features for Android phone users too. Recently, the instant messaging app added several new functionalities from new additions to voice messages, to raising the file-sharing size of up to 2GB. And now, WhatsApp camera design is set to change. As we know, WhatsApp's new features don't always roll out for all users at once. The same applies to an updated WhatsApp camera UI that is making its way to Android phone users now, which we have seen being provided earlier for iPhone users
The WhatsApp update tracker, WABetaInfo has confirmed that after releasing a new UI for the WhatsApp camera for iPhones, it is now releasing the same updated interface to some users on the latest WhatsApp beta for Android. The new camera redesign also includes a new look for media selection. Not just that, the camera's media bar which had been removed for iPhone users, has been restored.
"WhatsApp is finally releasing the redesign for the camera and the new media picker with tabs (recents, gallery), for some beta testers that install the latest updates of WhatsApp beta for Android," the WABetaInfo report mentioned. The report also shared a piece of good news that, "WhatsApp has not removed the camera media bar as planned during the development of the new interface: some people complained when it was removed on WhatsApp beta for iOS, and the company has restored it in another update." The new camera design is rolling out for Android users and will be activated on all devices in the coming weeks.
