It has been a contentious few months for Halo Infinite as 343 Industries continues to work on the game and attempts to fulfill fan expectations of its critically acclaimed shooter. However, fans of the game should have cause to celebrate soon. In a recent Halo Waypoint blog post, 343 announced the addition of fan-favorite voice actor Jeff Steitzer in Season 2 of Big Team Battle in Halo Infinite.
Halo Infinite’s multiplayer launched in November of last year to the surprise of many fans. Infinite’s first season, Heroes of Reach, has been ongoing since launch and, at five months in length, is slated to be the longest season the game will have. Development for Season 2 has been chugging along while a myriad of technical issues still plagues Halo Infinite; however, fans may find some of their wishes granted in Season 2 of Big Team Battle.
Halo Infinite Will Be Getting Content Based on TV Series
One addition that fans have been clamoring for since launch is adding Jeff Steitzer’s voice to Big Team Battle. The iconic voice actor can be heard in each of Halo Infinite’s Arena game modes but has been notably absent from BTB. Halo simply isn’t the same for most fans when Steitzer isn’t calling out player-earned medals. Thankfully, Steitzer’s iconic voice is back in full force for BTB, starting with Season 2 when it launches on May 3. 343 Industries has also outlined the contents of incoming updates as they roll out through Season 2.
Halo Infinite’s Season 2 is gearing up to contain some of the most significant updates for the game so far. In addition to Jeff Steitzer’s voice, players can expect to see Breaker, a new map added to Big Team Battle, along with the addition of maps Catalyst and Attrition for the Arena game modes. On the PC
