Pokemon GO is in the middle of its Season of Alola event, the primary function of which is to add new Generation 7 Pokemon to the popular augmented reality mobile game. The Pokemon GO Season of Alola consists of smaller events throughout the next couple of months that introduce new Pokemon and Special Research tasks, with the next event scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, March 22.
The Pokemon GO Lush Jungle event will start on Tuesday, March 22 at 10:00am local time and last until Tuesday, March 29 at 8:00pm local time. During the Lush Jungle event, players can look forward to the debuts of three new Generation 7 Pokemon. This will include Fomantis and its evolved form Lurantis, with Fomantis available to catch in the wild and by completing Field Research tasks. To get Lurantis, Pokemon GO players will need to get enough Fomantis candy to evolve it.

Most likely the only way that Pokemon GO players will be able to catch Tapu Lele is by beating it in a 5-star raid between the March 22 and March 29 window.
After the Melemele Island Special Research, Pokemon GO fans can look forward to the Ula'ula Island Special Research on April 12, the Poni Island Special Research on May 10, and then the End-of-Season Special Research on May 25 that's available to any players that complete the other Season of Alola Special Research quests by
