The Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes were designed in very specific ways, so many fans could enjoy the Sinnoh region in the same way that they remember from sixteen years ago. This included things such as the National Dex, the Poketch feature, and others, along with the classic Pokemon creatures first seen in Sinnoh. One fan decided to play the game with their favorite Sinnoh Pokemon, Cherrim, all the way to the very end.
Cherrim in particular has been a Pokemon that's had quite a bit of buzz around it lately. Due to a glitch in Pokemon Legends: Arceus where Cherrim couldn't be caught if it changed form mid-battle, many players have voiced a distaste for the creature, while also making memes about the situation. The glitch has since been fixed, and players have calmed down regarding the Blossom Pokemon.

However, Cherrim seems to be making a splash once again as one Cherrim superfan has beaten the entire main game of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond by only using the flower-based creature. The superfan, known as Cherrim98 or Super Monkey Cherrim, has shared their story to both YouTube and Reddit, with the video showing all the major battles the player went through, and the Reddit post breaking down what each battle was like.
In the comment section of their posts, Cherrim98 has answered further questions as to what the run was like, as Cherrim is a rather difficult Pokemon with a very limiting move pool. The moves used for the run were said to be Sunny Day, Dazzling Gleam, Solar Beam, and a mix-up of Leech Seed or Hyper Beam depending on what each battle called for in specific.
