Posted onto a Pokemon subreddit, a user by the handle of u/my_dog_can_dance shows a short video showcasing their hand-made creation. In the roughly 20-second clip, viewers will be able to see a highly accurate depiction of the Fire/Flying-type, posed similarly to some of the character's earliest sprites. Everything about the Charizard is proportional and accurate, including its green wings, orange body, and even its white-tipped claws. The post is clearly appreciated by fellow Pokemon fans, accumulating over 3,000 likes at the time of writing.
Comments on the paper model Charizard are universally positive, with many fans lauding the retro art style as being complimentary to the polygonal nature of the artwork.
