Pokemon Fan Art Combines Bulbasaur and Gengar
Many artistic Pokemon fans have been taking inspiration from the upcoming PokemonScarletandViolet games ever since they were revealed to make their own designs. However, rather than taking inspiration from the upcoming Gen 9 games, one fan has taken the designs of Gen 1's Bulbasaur and Gengar to create their own Pokemon that shares similarities to the two.
Both Bulbasaur and Gengar have had a huge impact on the Pokemon franchise, being two of the original pocket monsters that were introduced in 1996 with the releases of Pokemon Red andBlue. Bulbasaur is the Grass-type starter that players could choose to accompany them on their journey, with Charmander and Squirtle being the other choices. Bulbasaur evolves into Ivysaur, followed by Venusaur, and has become one of the most iconic starter Pokemon of all time. Gengar, on the other hand, is a Ghost Type Pokemon that is the final evolution of Gastly and Haunter. Gengar can be found in many video games throughout the franchise, being one of the Pokemon that players have been able to capture and battle against the most.
Pokemon Fan Designs Custom Gengar Ring
A Reddit user, Imkitoto, combined the designs of these two classic pocket monsters, making a Ghost-type Pokemon that shares a lot of similarities to the Grass-type starter. However, rather than being green, this design is mostly purple and fog replaces Bulbasaur's bulb. In the background of the picture, there are faded copies of this fan-made design, which Imkitoto calls «Gengasaur.»
