Genshin Impact takes inspiration from popular action RPGs and adapts it into a unique open-world experience for players to discover. Over the past two years, players within the Genshin Impact community paid tribute in a number of ways including custom merchandise and fan art. Now a Genshin Impact fan has combined the world of NieR Automata with a popular character from the region of Inazuma.
Before embarking into Inazuma in Genshin Impact's main story, the Traveler must first help Captain Beidou and her crew prepare to set sail. In the process, the Traveler meets Kaedehara Kazuha, a wandering samurai from Inazuma and a temporary member of Beidou's crew. A mini-tournament is held in Liyue's Guyun Stone Forest and the Traveler enters to face some of the region's finest warriors. A masterless Vision is the grand prize and after the tournament is settled, Kazuha reveals the Vision belonged to a deceased friend from Inazuma. Kazuha vows to see the Traveler once again after Beidou and the crew sets sail, and the main story continues into the Inazuma region.

Reddit user u/lychee990 drew impressive fan art of Genshin Impact's Kazuha in the world of NieR: Automata, combining inspiration and references from both games into one work. Kazuha is dressed in black attire with a blindfold, which is similar to the 9S's appearance in NieR Automata. However, Kazuha's attire is unique with references to his own attire from Genshin Impact such as the Inazuman sword and the Anemo Vision crest. Additionally, a Pod from NieR Automata is depicted with a Primogem symbol.
