Despite being over two decades old, the Pokemon franchise is still going strong. Many Pokemon have been added to the games over the years to bring the total to just over 900 creatures, with more coming later this year. While there are a number of newer pocket monsters for fans to love, the classic 151 Pokemon are still held up as some of the best in the series.
One of these Pokemon is Gengar. One of the original Ghost-type pocket monsters, along with its pre-evolutions Gastly and Haunter, Gengar has held on as one of the most popular creatures that the franchise has produced. The Pokemon was given both a Mega Evolution and a unique Gigantamax form, and has been featured prominently in the series' numerous animated shows. Gengar has stood as inspiration for a number of art pieces that fans have made over the years, including a custom-made Game Boy Macro XL.
