The second Generation of Pokemon introduced 100 new pocket monsters for trainers to chase after. This included baby Pokemon and new evolutions for creatures such as Slowpoke and Onix. The new pocket monsters were exciting for players coming off of Pokemon Red and Blue as it gave them more creatures to capture and train.
One of those new Pokemon was Lugia, a Psychic/Flying-Type was a new legendary that coincided with Ho-Oh and was featured in one of the franchise's movies. Lugia was connected with the legendary bird trio, serving as the master of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. The Pokemon is beloved, with one fan creating a piece of art dedicated to it.

A Reddit user known as lolCure posted an image of a rug that they made of Lugia. The piece features the Pokemon's head, featuring its beak along with the blue spikes that come off of its eyes. The work also features a miniaturized wing coming off of the back of the pocket monster's head. The rug looks great and would be perfect for anyone who loves the legendary bird.
LolCure's rug has garnered a number of fans as a few commenters stated that they would take lolCure's entire stock, while another mentioned that they now have the commercial theme from the Nintendo DS title Pokemon Trozei! stuck in their heads. One user said that Lugia is their favorite Pokemon and that they want the rug, to which another fan agreed. One Redditor was unsure of what was coming off the back of the pocket monster's head, though it was clarified by others. LolCure did a great job on the rug, creating an impressive piece for Pokemon fans to enjoy.
