Since the release of Diablo Immortal, countless Activision Blizzard fans have voiced their displeasure with the mobile ARPG's microtransactions, including many streamers. Popular Twitch streamer Asmongold has been critical of Diablo Immortal in the past, and he continues to make fun of players, including one that has spent $100,000 in the limited time the game has been available.
Diablo Immortal was widely released in June, while Australia had earlier access to the ARPG and China only recently received the mobile Activision Blizzard title. During a recent Twitch stream, Asmongold was critiquing a video from YouTube content creator Jtisallbusiness in which the YouTuber admits to spending $100,000 on Diablo Immortal microtransactions. Diablo Immortal players can spend money in the game through multiple methods such as acquiring powerful gems and Legendary Crests or directly purchasing the battle pass. However, Jtisallbusiness may have seemingly gone with the buy option every step along the way.

According to Jtisallbusiness, he's spent so much money in Diablo Immortal that he can't queue for PvP matches with the battleground captain unless he's willing to wait up to 72 hours. This trouble experienced by Jtisallbusiness has persisted for nearly two months and the player is regularly waiting in PvP queues for two hours which is the duration of a Diablo Immortal Battleground. Because he's experiencing these issues so soon after the launch of the game and after spending more than most other Diablo Immortal players, Jtisallbusiness has questioned if it's worth giving up and refunding whatever money possible.
