In 2010, Playdead launched atmospheric side-scroller Limbo to rave reviews. With the bar set so high out of the gate, many were excited to see what exactly Playdead would come up with next, and if that project could live up to the expectations set by Limbo. Playdead's second project, Inside, surpassed Limbo's critical reception, earning near-universal acclaim and taking home numerous awards in the process.
Inside was first released six years ago, yet there may still be those who have yet to play it for whatever reason. Anyone who has been curious about Inside or who liked Limbo and are wanting to see what else Playdead is capable of now have the perfect opportunity to see what all the fuss is about. It's been six years since Inside was first released, and so some fans may be growing anxious for Playdead's third game. Playdead's third game doesn't have an official name at the time of this writing, but it's going to be quite the departure from Limbo and Inside. Playdead's third game is going to move away from the side-scrolling setup that Limbo and Inside have used, and it will be published by Epic
