A talented Pokemon fan is getting noticed for their impressive drawings of what Nincada's evolution line would look like if they were humans. The art pieces — which all have their own distinctive art styles — are grabbing the attention of more than a few fellow Pokemon fans online.
First introduced as part of Pokemon's third generation, Nincada is a dual-type Bug/Ground Pokemon which resembles a white, cicada-like insect. Nincada's evolutionary path is a rather unique one, for when Nincada evolves at Level 20, it will turn into Ninjask, but will also create an additional Pokemon in Shedinja if the trainer has an empty slot in their party and an extra Poke Ball in ther possession. While powerful when used correctly, Shedinja unfortunately isn't in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, though its Wonder Guard is the probable reason for its exclusion.
Reddit user endifi, a passionate Pokemon fan and talented artist, has skillfully given the Nincada evolutionary line a new look through impressive human renditions. The first piece of art is the human form of Nincada, depicted as an elderly man. The artist cleverly retools some of Nincada's insectoid appendages into clothing, while still maintaining the basic silhouette. The humanized Ninjask fully embodies its ninja namesake, wielding a pair of scythes in each hand. The human Shedinja resembles an angelic warrior, an homage to it being the exoskeletal remains of Nincada.
Nincada's human version of its evolutionary line seems to be quite popular with other Pokemon fans, with the post receiving several dozen upvotes at the time of writing, with nothing but comments populating the post's comments section. While the trio of drawings is certainly impressive, they are hardly the first full evolutionary line from the artist, who's made a bit of a name for themselves by creating human versions of numerous Pokemon. A few months ago, the same artist created human versions for the Torchic evolutionary line, including Shiny and Mega Evolution
