PlayStation Plus subscriptions and PlayStation Store gift cards are currently on sale for Black Friday.
As part of Sony’s Black Friday sale, players can save up to 30% on PlayStation Plus memberships, while hundreds of digital games are also discounted.
And with retailers offering savings of up to 12% on PlayStation Store gift cards, by combining these offers, it’s possible to make even greater savings.
Until November 27, players signing up to PlayStation Plus Essential can save 20% on a 12-month membership plan.
Current members can also save 25% when upgrading to PlayStation Plus Extra, or 30% when upgrading to PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe.
In the US, the PlayStation Store currently lists 1,171 discounted items in its Black Friday sale, while the UK PS Store has 1,115 available discounts.
So, if you’re planning to subscribe or upgrade your PlayStation Plus membership, or to buy any digital content from Sony‘s online marketplace, it might be worth topping up your PlayStation Store wallet using discounted digital gift cards (listed below) from Walmart (US) or ShopTo (UK).
Even with discounted store credit though, it’s always worth comparing prices elsewhere before making a purchase as PlayStation Store still might not be the cheapest place to buy what you’re looking for.
On the hardware front, Target is selling the standard PS5 console for $350 ($150 off MSRP) for Black Friday. PS5 Slim consoles are also being bundled with Modern Warfare 3 or Spider-Man 2 for under $500 at various retailers.
And in the UK, PS5 Slim has received a £20 Black Friday discount at UK retailer Currys, where it can be pre-ordered for £459 using a promo code ahead of its launch next week.
