Paramount+ has released the first look into their upcoming mockumentary series Players, revealing its cast members. Last summer, the subscription platform announced a new series about E-sports surrounding the world’s most-played MOBA game, League of Legends. The series is developed by American Vandal creators Dan Perrault and Tony Yacenda, and produced by CBS Studios in association with Funny or Die and Riot Games.
Now, Paramount+ has shared a first look at the upcoming documentary-style comedy around the PC game, League of Legends. The image introduces the five members of the fictional gaming team (from left to right: Noh “Arrow” Dong-hyeon, Michael “Miko” Ahn, Misha Brooks, Da’Jour Jones, and Youngbin Chung). The image provides a small glimpse into the comedic documentary style series, as the members are sporting matching attire of their team's presumed name «Fugitive,» with Brooks holding the retired Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard. The series' synopsis describes the group as «a fictional pro League of Legends esports team, as they pursue their first championship after years of close calls and heartache.» Check out the image below.
