A Peacemaker fan edit has completed the Justice League cameo in the finale by adding both Batman and Cyborg back into the line-up. Peacemaker, a spin-off of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, is the first TV series explicitly set within the DCEU, with Gunn serving as showrunner and the focus being on John Cena’s patriotically deranged special agent. The show has been a huge success for HBO Max, with engagement from fans and audiences being high enough for a second season to be commissioned as well as Gunn working on an addtional spin-off for another, as yet unconfirmed, character from The Suicide Squad.
The Peacemaker finale recently caused some controversy among the DC fanbase as it featured an unexpected cameo from the Justice League. However, this was not as well-received as the cameo’s fans have celebrated in Marvel properties, due to some key issues. Of the six current Justice League members in the DCEU, only four were present as Batman and Cyborg were completely omitted from the line-up. Of those four, only Aquaman and The Flash were represented by their actors, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller, with Superman and Wonder Woman portrayed by stand-ins who were kept in shadow.

Twitter user @boomborks, has edited the image of the Justice League line-up to reinsert Batman and Cyborg along with the rest of the team. The image is the shot of Cena’s Peacemaker spying the League in the distance with all six of them obscured in shadow. Batman and Cyborg have been inserted on either side of the original line-up, with edited publicity images being used to bring the entire League together.
