Developer Pocketpair has announced that Palworld will be coming to PC as an Early Access title through Steam on January 19. The announcement comes alongside a new trailer showing off the gameplay and some of the story of Palworld. Check it out below.
Palworld is a mix of survival crafting and monster catching titles in the vein of Pokemon. The game features all of the tropes you would expect from both of those genres, such as base-building and farming, as well as a host of traversal options, like mounting your Pals to swim or fly through the game’s open world.
The early access release window of January 2024 was originally announced all the way back in June 2023 with a trailer during Summer Game Fest 2023. The trailer also showed off quite a bit of gameplay for Palworld, including combat, as well as base building.
From the monster catching side of the spectrum, Palworld will include various features, like the ability to catch endangered Pals for money, Pal breeding, and even dungeon delving. The game includes multiplayer where players can play alongside each other, trade Pals, and even battle each other.
