Total sales for open-world survival crafting game Palworld have surpassed four million units in only about three days after its Early Access launch, developer Pocket Pair announced.
“Momentum has increased since yesterday, with the latest sales at 86,000 units per hour,” Pocket Pair said in a tweet.
The game also achieved the highest concurrent player count of any paid game in history on Steam, surpassing Cyberpunk 2077‘s 1,054,388 players with a current peak of 1,291,967 concurrent players. It has the fifth highest concurrent player count of all time on Steam, just behind PUBG: Battlegrounds, Counter-Strike 2, Lost Ark, and Dota 2.
Palworld launched for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on January 19, and sold one million units in eight hours, two million units in 24 hours, and three million units in 40 hours. It is also available via Xbox Game Pass.
