Overwatch 2’s annual holiday event Winter Wonderland will return to the game on Dec. 19. On Friday, Blizzard Entertainment detailed what players can expect during Winter Wonderland 2023, including returning game modes and new Legendary skins for heroes like Sojourn, Mercy, Tracer, Baptiste, Illari, and Cassidy. Winter Wonderland 2023 will see the return of four Arcade game modes: Mei’s Snowball Offensive, Snowball Deathmatch, Yeti Hunter, and Freeze Flash Elimination (previously known as Freezethaw Elimination).

With the Winter Fair Event Pass, players will earn tickets by playing games which can then be spent on unlockable rewards. Tickets are earned for every nine games played, with wins counting as double.
The Winter Fair Event Pass’ free track will let players earn enough to tickets to unlock one free Legendary skin: Formalwear Legendary skins for Cassidy or Baptiste, or the Winter Jammies Illari Legendary skin. For 500 Overwatch Coins — Overwatch 2’s premium currency, which can be earned in-game or bought with real money — players can unlock the Event Pass’ Premium track, and unlock all four Legendary skins, as well as other cosmetics, including the Legendary Wrapping Paper Reinhardt skin or the Kerrigan skin for Widowmaker.
Other Winter Wonderland 2023 skins coming to the in-game shop include Formalwear Legendary skins for Tracer and Sojourn; Nutcracker Pharah and Festive Kiriko (recolors of Pharah’s Enchanted Armor and Kiriko’s Time
