A lot changes in 's New Game Plus, but there's one character whose identity isn't even revealed until the player has completed the game at least once. New Game Plus in can be activated after finishing a run of the main quest. It carries over the player's levels, Traits, and Perks, but forces them to leave behind all items and credits they've gathered. It also unlocks some new, prescient dialogue options to use in repeat playthroughs. That's why many say the true experience doesn't begin until several hundreds of hours into the game, when the main campaign has been completed and new content is unlocked.

While it's not necessary to rush NG+, unless planning for multiple runs from the very beginning, there are some interesting, more minor things that only begin to appear the second time around.
