Warning: Spoilers for Spider-Punk #1
After Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider and gained the superhuman abilities that made him Spider-Man, he vowed to be the hero that he felt he had the responsibility to be, though some of his variants across the Spider-Verse have taken that vow a little more loosely. While Spider-Man is firmly against killing his enemies, another version of him has no such moral quandary when it comes to defeating his foes, proving this Spider-Man variant is much more brutal than Peter Parker.
In Spider-Punk #1 by Cody Ziglar and Justin Mason, Spider-Punk and his ally Captain Anarchy are facing off against a gang of nazis led by this universes version of Kraven the Hunter. On this version of Marvel’s Earth, the world has fallen into chaos under the previous leadership of President Norman Osborn. While Spider-Punk attempts to fuel the revolution and put an end to the spreading of fascism across the United States.

The reason Norman Osborn isn’t the President in this issue is because of one brutal act of rebellious violence courtesy of Spider-Punk. Using his guitar, Spider-Punk chopped off Norman Osborn’s head in the hopes that his death would put the United States on the road to recovery from the fascist state Osborn led it down. Not only did Spider-Punk do what Spider-Man would never do by killing Norman Osborn, but he did it in the most brutally hilarious way imaginable by literally beheading him with a guitar.
