During a recent interview, Star Wars prequel trilogy and Obi-Wan Kenobi star, Ewan McGregor, revealed that he has often pretended to use his character's Jedi Force powers in public. The Golden Globe award-winning actor will star in the highly anticipated Disney+ series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, which is slated to premiere on the streaming service on May 25, 2022. McGregor plays the titular character of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the upcoming six-episode limited series, a role he first played in the initial prequel trilogy entry, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, in 1999. In the new Disney+ series, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi keeps a watchful eye over a young Luke Skywalker on the desert planet Tatooine, while simultaneously evading elite Jedi hunters from the Empire during his exile. Fellow prequel trilogy star, Hayden Christensen, is also reprising the iconic role of Anakin Skywalker's Darth Vader in the big budget series.
