Star Wars actor Mark Hamill reacts to a post counting the number of times Luke Skywalker asked a question in the original trilogy. The actor portrayed the farm boy who would become a Jedi Knight throughout both George Lucas' original trilogy of films, as well as in Disney's sequel trilogy. Hamill has also since become a prolific voice actor for numerous roles in animation and video games, most famously voicing the Joker in several animated appearances.
As a boy, Luke Skywalker spent most of his life in the Outer Rim, blissfully unaware of the intricacies of the galaxy until two lost droids wound up on his doorstep. As such, the young man is swept up in a grand adventure involving an evil Empire, the mystical energy that connects the galaxy, and closely-held secrets about his family's true legacy. While he would later become a Jedi Master capable of facing Sith spirits, Luke started off as a naïve young man, leading to him asking many questions about the intricacies of the Star Wars universe.

The series star hadn't realized just how many questions his character had asked, though. Responding to a fan tweet he was tagged in, Hamill reacts to learning via meme that Luke asked a total of 118 questions throughout the 0riginal trilogy. He jokes about how someone might have researched the piece of trivia, saying that he enjoyed the fact someone sat through the three movies just to keep track of the number of questions Luke asked. The actor then states that he would frown upon the practice if it were done out loud in a way that could spoil the viewing experience for others. Check out Hamill's full response below:
