NVIDIA's recently introduced GeForce RTX 4060 GPU has seen a price decrease in Europe due to waning demand.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU release was met with criticism amongst several consumers since the $299 price tag isn't feasible considering what performance the GPU brings onboard. The lack of consumer interest made it clear that we would see a price drop, and now it's here, starting with the famous German retailer Mindfactory.
Mindfactory has listed the MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X for €310. Another French retailer, Hardware.fr, has also reduced the price of the same GPU to €309 after applying a promo code. This is almost a drop of 6% from the original European MSRP of €329. Although this reduction isn't significant, we still anticipate a further price drop considering how the GPU is priced initially. One important thing to highlight is that the variant getting the price drop is Ventus 2X, which is a bit on the lower end; however, the reduction is expected to transition into higher variants such as the MSI Gaming.
