The much awaited Nothing phone (1) is all set to launch next month and is already creating a lot of hype on the internet. A few days back, the London-based startup revealed the full design of its upcoming phone and the netizens seem to be super excited about it. While the full list of specifications and features are yet to be outed, the design reveal has answered a lot of questions around the phone. Here’re the things that we know about the Nothing phone (1) so far.
The Nothing phone (1) features a transparent design on the back through which you can get a sneak peek of the elements from the phone’s internal make up. However, the phone (1) has metal like plates covering the exposed components, giving the back a cleaner look-and-feel.
The back of the Nothing phone (1) will have illuminating lines available around the camera island, the wireless charging area and on the top-right. These could be used to alert users of notifications.
The Nothing phone (1) is likely to come with sleek metallic sides with flat edges, similar to the new iPhone 13 series.
The design of the Nothing phone (1) shows that an element is missing i.e, 3.5mm headphone jack. It seems like the company in favor of offering a better ecosystem for wireless audio products from other brands, has removed support for wired earphones and headphones.
The design also reveals that the phone (1) will not have an alert slider or any similar implementation. Instead, it will only have the software-side switch to toggle between ringing and silent profiles.
The design further suggests that the Nothing phone (1) will feature a dual camera setup on the back which looks cleaner and offers more real estate for the rest of the back panel’s design to shine.
