Building on the premise set by Wii Sports by adding things like online ranked mode, Nintendo Switch Sports has seen success with Switch owners.
It seems there is plenty still to come from the sports game as well, as shown by Nintendo's latest update for the game. The Summer update for Nintendo Switch Sports was first revealed last week, showing players what they would get on July 26. Now, the patch is live and Nintendo has provided a full run-down of what was added in the latest changes to Nintendo Switch Sports. The first thing on the sizable list of patch notes is full leg strap support for the soccer game mode, meaning players will be able to use the accessory in both Four-on-Four and One-on-One matchmaking.

There are also new moves for volleyball in Nintendo Switch Sports, allowing for more options in the game mode than just having players bump, set, and spike. In addition to the gameplay changes made to soccer and volleyball, bowling also received an update which adjusts how the pins fall. A player will now have more of a challenge knocking pins over with a straight roll compared to when they bowl with a curve. Essentially, this discourages a player just lobbing their Joy-Con at the screen
