An interview with GQ suggested this may be the case, as the game's senior producer, Philippe Ducharme, and creative director, Roman Campos-Oriola, both expressed interest in exploring the series further. A survey from EA also asked its participants how interested they would be in a remake of the other titles in the same vein as the 2023.
In a new post on the EA site, Motive Studio's General Manager, Patrick Klaus, shared an update on the studio’s future plans that left the future of the series in doubt. While it gave the first proper update on the studio's game since its announcement in 2022, stating that the team led by executive producer Olivier Proulx and creative director Ian Frazier has made "", the main reason for the post was to announce Motive's role in the upcoming game.
