Players looking to snag their weekly Profession Knowledge Point quests for Crafting Professions currently only have one quest option available — completing Work Orders. With the official launch of The War Within yesterday, and the first weekly reset of the expansion today, players are arriving in Dornogal to accept their weekly quests — and many are confused by the lack of options from their trainers.

Players have different sources of Knowledge Points available depending on the type of Profession they have: Crafting or Gathering, with an exception for Enchanting.
Players with Gathering Professions such as Herbalism, Mining, and Skinning won't have many changes from Dragonflight — just head to your Profession trainer in Dornogal to pick up Gathering quests such as Light and Shadow or Cinder and Storm.
These quests should be fairly easy to complete — simply gather the required items and turn them in for free Knowledge Points. Players can still purchase the required items from the Auction House as well, if you're pressed for time.
Enchanting in particular needs a special note, as it is now unique among Professions in how to earn Knowledge Points. Unlike Dragonflight, Enchanting is now considered a Gathering Profession instead of a Crafting Profession in terms of Weekly Quests due to a new mechanic: Knowledge Points coming from the Disenchant skill.
Players will gain five Fleeting Arcane Manifestation and one Gleaming Telluric Crystal each week from Disenchanting items, similar to the method Gathering Professions randomly gather Knowledge Point items. With this change, Enchanting occupies an odd niche, with mechanics from both Crafting and Gathering Professions applied to it.
Enchanters should look to their Profession Trainer to find a weekly quest, and will also gain Knowledge from Patron Crafting Orders in the same manner traditional Crafting Professions
