One of the developers at Naughty Dog has given hope for a new Uncharted game, admitting another adventure in the series is entirely possible. The story of treasure-hunting Nathan Drake ended with 2016's Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, though the universe continued on with 2017'sUncharted: The Lost Legacy, starring Chloe Frazer. Both games recently came to PS5 in Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, but there's yet to be official confirmation of an all-new game release.
The Uncharted games have been some of PlayStation's most popular, cementing Nathan Drake as one of the classic heroes and mascots of the PS3 and PS4. While the fourth game wrapped up Drake's story nicely, many have been hoping the Uncharted series isn't yet done with. The Lost Legacy, a standalone expansion, wowed fans with its dynamic gameplay and exciting story, with many heralding it as one of the best Uncharted experiences. The Chloe adventure proves there's lots of directions that a new game could take, including adopting Drake's daughter as the new protagonist, and it's hoped Naughty Dog is still planning to launch a newUncharted game.

In an interview with Games Radar (via VGC), Uncharted: The Lost Legacy creative director Shaun Escayg and game director Kurt Margenau spoke about the upcoming release of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and the future of the franchise.
