Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is due out tomorrow featuring a litany of improvements for the PS5. People with 4K TVs can enjoy Fidelity mode at 30 fps, while those who prefer smoother frame rates can try Performance or Performance+ for lower resolutions but greater than 60fps. It'll also have support for the PS5's 3D audio and DualSense haptics.
GamesRadar sat down with Naughty Dog's Kurt Margenau (lead designer Uncharted 4, game director Uncharted: The Lost Legacy) and Shaun Escayg (lead cinematic animator Uncharted 4, creative director Uncharted: The Lost Legacy) to discuss the coming remaster and what it meant to return to a beloved franchise. There was a lot of talk of how great it is to experience Uncharted better than ever, but it also brought forth a longing for something more. Perhaps even a sixth Uncharted.

When asked if Naughty Dog was at least considering a sequel, Escayg said that it wasn’t out of the question.
"I think we can say for certain that we can never say never. Yeah. Uncharted is a franchise we love – that the studio loves," said Escayg. "I love, and Kurt loves. It's a world we want to see more of.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection arrives on the PlayStation 5 on January 28. A PC version is scheduled for later in 2022, but neither Margenau nor Escayg mentioned any knowledge of just when that might be.
But it'll likely be after the coming Uncharted movie, which arrives on February 18. Starring Tom Holland as a young Nathan Drake, the Spider-Man actor revealed in a recent behind-the-scenes video that he considered Uncharted's stunts to be even scarier than his work in the web-slinging Marvel films.
