With only a few inferior brands acting as competition, LEGO is the king of the construction toy world, and always has been. While its vast range of original product lines can be amazing, like the old Pirate, Medieval, and City series, licensed sets are where LEGO really shines nowadays. With sets from Star Wars, Harry Potter, DC, Marvel, and more, LEGO caters to just about every fandom. With the introduction of video game sets, LEGO ticks another box.
Though some video game LEGO sets have cropped up in the past, with Portal and other IPs appearing as expansions to LEGO Dimensions, the brand has recently started to produce full sets based on some popular video game IPs. Starting with the LEGO Mario series a few years ago, LEGO seems to be going all in on the video game market, with a Sonic the Hedgehog set releasing a few months ago and a new Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West set being confirmed recently. There's almost certainly some more video game LEGO sets in the pipeline, and PlayStation's first-party games are a great place to draw inspiration from.
LEGO Releases Set Recreating Famous Jurassic Park T-Rex Scene
If LEGO is looking to make more sets based on PlayStation properties, then Uncharted is likely at the top of the list. In fact, according to recent rumors, an Uncharted LEGO set is already in the works, apparently containing the Jeep from the fourth game along with minifigures of Nathan Drake, Elena, and Sully.
Though this rumored set is said to feature a cave structure along with the Jeep, this seems a bit too generic for a truly memorable Uncharted LEGO set. Instead, a set based off the game should revolve around Uncharted 4's most beloved set piece, the Madagascar bridge chase.
