Tom Holland discusses his experience playing through the campaign of Uncharted while on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming. After first being introduced to audiences as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, Holland got his first solo outing with 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming. The film was a hit with both audiences and critics and paved the way for two sequels, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home, the latter of which has smashed box office records and earned the highest ever audiences score on Rotten Tomatoes for an MCU film.
Of course, outside of his role as Spider-Man, Holland is also poised to take the lead in another massive franchise with the soon-to-be-released Uncharted. Based on the popular video game series of the same name, Uncharted features Holland as adventurer Nathan Drake, who sets out on a dangerous mission to uncover the lost treasure of Ferdinand Magellan. In addition to Holland, the film features Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas. Initial trailers for Uncharted suggest that the film will be action-packed, with much of the promotional material hyping up an intense cargo plane action sequence.
