Netflix's Animated Rabbids Invasion: Mission To Mars Special Gets Interstellar Trailer
Netflix has released an official trailer for Rabbids Invasion: Mission to Mars, a film adaptation of the popular Ubisoft gaming and media franchise. The special will land on the streaming service on February 18.
The clip features the titular wacky bunnies doing what they usually do--wreaking havoc--but this time, for a good cause. In this new adventure, Rabbids Invasion: Mission to Mars, the Rabbids are assigned to a space mission that involves preparing Mars to become habitable by humans. An official synopsis plays up the introduction of a new character showcased in the special, named Beardie: «As a genius Rabbid misunderstood by his stupid peers, he has always dreamed of going to the red planet. After successfully passing the tests, he takes off with three other Rabbids: Disco, the lively queen of the dancefloor, Cosmo, the pilot with self-confidence issues and Mini, the adorable tiny Rabbid who hates being mistaken for a kid.»
Also coming to Netflix on February 18 is another highly-anticipated series adapting a popular video game--The Cuphead Show. A new trailer for that award-winning video gamewas released recently.
In related news, in November 2021, it was announced that an animated Earthworm Jim animated series is currently in development.
