Linnethia «NeNe» Leakes, a former housewife of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, is ensuring she is fully prepared to fight her lawsuit with Bravo, as she hired a famous Beverly Hills lawyer. By now, the public is aware that Leakes is suing Bravo, Andy Cohen, and other executive producers from involved companies for allegedly having and condoning a racist workplace culture and environment. The suit was issued on April 20, and Kim Zolciak-Biermann was also named in the suit for her racist behavior, however, she is not being sued.

It is said that this was done in an effort to keep Leakes from landing the deal. Labelling Bravo, Cohen, and those others listed in the suit as racists have also caused Leakes to feel blacklisted in the entertainment industry. At first, Leakes' claims were not being received well by many, but now, fans are on Leakes' side after the public was told that the RHOA housewives of season 14 paid for one of their own promotional videos.
