Google Pay is now available in Hinglish! Yes, that is a mishmash of Hindi and English languages that is especially in use by the youth considering that it can provide some delightful turn of phrases. Back in 2021, Google announced that it will introduce an option for Indian users to use the digital wallet platform in the Hinglish language - a hybrid of English and Hindi languages. And now, finally, the Google Pay app is available with the Hinglish language option in India. To make the app more user-friendly, Google has announced Hinglish language in addition to the text-to-speech, split bills, and the MyShop features. So once you opt for this language on the Google Pay app, some of the options will be shown in Hinglish. Such as, “New Payment” will read as “Naya Payment,” while “Show transaction history” will be translated to “Transaction History Dekhein,” and more like that. This is not the first language that is targeting Indian users. Hinglish on Google Pay joins the already existing Indian languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu.
