A Naughty Dog employee has listed "The Last of Us Part 2: Remastered" on their LinkedIn profile, giving more evidence that a re-release for the PS5 is on its way.
One of the most talked-about PlayStation rumours over the past few years (especially since the release of The Last of Us Part 1) is that Naughty Dog is working on a remaster of The Last of Us Part 2. The rumoured re-release has been reported several times by insiders over the past few years, and a new piece of evidence has just popped up that all but confirms the game's existence.

As pointed out by ResetEra user Red Kong XIX and originally spotted by Angie, the employee in question is Mark Pajarillo, a lead outsource artist at Naughty Dog. On his LinkedIn profile, Pajarillo notes that he has been responsible for "overseeing the production of all outsourced environment art assets, weapons, and interactive props" for both The Last of Us Part 1 and The Last of Us Part 2: Remastered.
Not only does this seemingly confirm that the long-rumoured (well, if you can call three years "long") remaster is in development at Naughty Dog, but it also suggests that it's going to be called The Last of Us Part 2: Remastered instead of being called "Director's Cut" like some had theorised. It was hardly going to be called The Last of Us Part 2: Part 2, was it?
Calling it a "remaster" instead of "director's cut" does seem to imply that any changes to the game are likely going to be minimal and that it's probably just a graphical update of some kind. That's likely to be a controversial decision as, not only is The Last of Us Part 2 already one of the best-looking games out
