In a world where battle royale games have become more pervasive than ever, titles like Naraka: Bladepoint are felt by many as a fresh take on the genre. The game has seen quite the success among PC players despite not being a free-to-play title, and soon console players will be able to join in the fun as well, as Naraka: Bladepoint is coming really soon to Xbox.
Originally launched for PC in August 2021, Naraka: Bladepoint is an action-filled battle royale with traditional melee and ranged weapons instead of the usual firearms found in games like Fortnite. The combat system is heavily inspired by martial arts, with a whole host of customizable heroes offering epic abilities that can sometimes defy gravity. Up to 60 players can engage in one combat session in Naraka: Bladepoint and now they are not only limited to using a PC.

The news came during the 2022 Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase where a short trailer announced that Naraka: Bladepoint will be available for Xbox consoles starting on June 23. These include the Xbox Series X and Series S, as well as both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. Subscribers of the Ultimate tier of the Xbox Game Pass may also play the game on mobile devices with the help of the service's cloud gaming feature.
With this new platform addition, Naraka: Bladepoint now supports cross-play, meaning that Xbox and PC players can choose to team up or battle against each other. To make for a smooth online experience, the developer has prepared four servers that will be available at launch (North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Asia), with more expected to follow later.
