Danish studio Die Gute Fabrik, responsible for indie titles such as the excellently unique indie Mutazione, has announced that the company is halting production of current projects. The studio points to the current “challenging funding and investment scene” in games as the big reason behind the decision.
We’re sad to share that we're halting production at @gutefabrik due to the challenging funding & investment scene in games right now. We downed tools earlier this month & have been doing our best to support the team who'll be looking for work from mid-March.

The studio’s statement goes on to say that the company stopped production on February 19, and used its remaining money to help the team with a month of paid time.
The most important part, however, is that the studio isn’t giving up on trying to find funding to resume production. They’re only issuing this public statement to give a proper signal boost to the team members who are now looking for new jobs. Below the announcement, the studio also shared its hiring sheet.
