Although the characters themselves are massively important to any matchup, the arena they fight on is just as essential to master. Most arenas in contain specific hazards or quirks that are important to learn before jumping in.
There are ten total stages in where players can compete in local or online multiplayer. Whenever jumping into either the 1v1 or 2v2 game mode, this stage is randomly selected. In the PvE Rift game mode, you can predict the stage based on the opponent, but it is still best to familiarize yourself with all potential stages and platforms. All maps have specific hazards that can ultimately be just as dangerous as any player ability.
MultiVersus is the newest platform fighting game, pitting Warner Bros. characters against each other in single player, local co-op, or online PvP.

Tree Fort
A two-tiered arena made for 2v2 gameplay.
Tree Fort 1v1
A one-tiered map with two bouncing side branches and platforms.
Tree Fort 2
A one-tier platform at night with slightly lowered platforms and branches.
Tree Fort is a map from, a property with three characters, including Jake, Finn, and the Banana Guard. The central hazard in this game are two branches on either end of the upper level. These branches can act as trampolines, used to either jump off of or to bounce off enemies for a potential ring out.
All branches can be destroyed with three strikes and will only respawn in between rounds.
The Batcave is Batman’s home base, and one of various maps with no change between the 1v1 and 2v2 game modes. The center of the map features a small platform, with two Batmobiles acting as additional platforms on either side. The two Batmobiles can be used to ricochet enemies off of, but are also destroyed if struck enough times.
