MSI is the first motherboard manufacturer to roll out the latest AMD AGESA 1.0.0.7c BIOS firmware for its AM5 motherboards.
AMD's motherboard partners recently released the latest AGESA 1.0.0.7b BIOS firmware, which is also known as Patch B. The new BIOS delivered some major improvements to the AM5 platform as it allowed support for high-speed DDR5 frequencies which was previously impossible. We've seen several memory OC records over DDR5-9000 MT/s over the last few weeks with more to come but it looks like there's a new BIOS on the horizon already.
Today, MSI is rolling out its first BIOS based on the latest AMD AGESA 1.0.0.7c (Patch C) firmware. One of the first motherboards to land this BIOS is the MSI MEG X670E ACE and you can grab it at this link. I can also confirm that the new BIOS is indeed the latest AMD Patch C as can be seen in the SMU checker:
While there are no details available officially yet, the new AMD AGESA firmware will further improve DDR5 DRAM support. According to Leaker, Chi11eddog, the new BIOS firmware will fix boot issues when running a specific set of modules from manufacturers.
